The MOST Glorious Sunday!

On Friday, Jesus was beaten, stabbed in the side, forced to wear a "crown" of thorns and hung on a cross He carried to Calvary so you and I can have the opportunity to live forever with Him in Heaven. It was a dark, dark day. It was a day that Jesus asked His Father to take away, but knew full well it would happen. It was a day He died so you and I would not have to. He looked a lot like the image below, taken from the movie, "The Passion of the Christ." Look hard. Do you see the stripes on his chest? Every inch of His body was ripped to pieces.
Because He loved you and me.

He died. And was buried. And then....the earth shook. The stone rolled away and the tomb was empty. And it became A Glorious Morning. The darkness of Friday was burst wide open by the glorious light of the Risen King on Sunday. Praise the Lord, He has risen!

Do you know the risen Savior? Do you know Him?
