Joshua 24:15
“…choose for yourselves today whom you will serve…as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

Do you know what it is that you serve each day? You can figure it out rather easily. Think about the things that you make sure are in your day—the things that you rearrange other things for in order to ensure that they take place. Now, think about the most important one. The one you would move mountains to have in your day.

THAT is what you serve. You will sacrifice almost anything to make it work.

Now, is that “something” God? Do you serve the world and all of the empty promises it offers or do you serve the One who keeps every promise He’s ever made?!

Will you let God be your: Father, King, Teacher, Light, Healer, Love, Intercessor, Savior, Lord, Redeemer, Coming King, Forgiver, Friend, Comforter and Great Physician? He is the Giver of all things good, the Lover of your soul, and the Lifter of your head. He is your Protector, your Strong One, your Portion, your Deliverer and your Shelter. He is the Righteous One who is holy, just, mighty, and your ever-present help in time of need!

Is there anything any better than serving our Lord? Make the change today. Place yourself on the altar and put Christ on the throne and let Him reign supreme in your life. The transformation you experience will astonish you. Don’t delay.

“Choose for yourselves today whom you will serve.” I pray your answer will be, “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
